Hi, I’m Paula and I have lived in the Whitsundays for over 10 years and is certainly where I call home. Originally from the UK, I have a love and appreciation of antiques, reclaimed furniture and 20th century homes.
The house we moved from in the UK was a workers cottage dating back to the 1860’s and I was forever on the hunt in antique stores and reclamation yards for items that would represent the interior of the house. An old stone open fireplace, range oven and wooden floors are some of the things I miss now living in a younger country to that of the UK.
But that hasn’t stopped me from collecting and making our 5 year old house a home. Living near the sea I have brought together my love of the old and styled with the modern to encompass our new way of living in the Whitsundays.
I have always had a passion for interior and garden design and so have decided to put all my thoughts, ideas and creativity to use by sharing and showing people how easy it can be. Most of the time it’s about having the guidance and confidence to know what your style is, how it can work and what looks good together. I hope you enjoy sharing this with me.
